Exciting HEAL PA News!
April is child abuse prevention month and HEAL Pa is excited to announce that it has been selected as the provisional chapter for PCA. As a Pennsylvania chapter, we will work closely with Prevent Child Abuse America to bring awareness to the issue of child abuse, educate the public on how to prevent it, and provide support and resources to those affected by it.

The Pennsylvania State Senate has introduced Senate Resolution 102, which establishes May as Trauma Awareness Month, May 25th as Trauma Awareness Day, and voices support for HEAL PA, #WeHealUS, and our continuous work toward transforming Pennsylvania into a trauma-informed state.
This resolution calls on individuals and leaders within Pennsylvania to recognize the existence of trauma, its widespread effects, and to take proactive steps to prevent re-traumatization and promote healing. Resolution 102 also highlights the importance of trauma-informed policies and legislation that prioritize healing.
We are nothing but excited for our continued May trauma and mental health campaign and for the future of our Commonwealth. We know that our members and our combined efforts are changing Pennsylvania, and the lives of its citizens, for the better.
