Poverty Reduction Action Team
The Poverty Reduction Action Team works to break the cycle of trauma and poverty by supporting upstream solutions to eliminate poverty and advocating to eliminate structural policies and practices that criminalize poverty.

Team Formation and Stabilization
In its initial year, the Poverty Reduction Action Team worked to recruit and retain a diverse membership while also supporting the Community Conversation Initiative out of the Racial and Communal Trauma Prevention Action Team.

Collaborative Relationships
Working with the Community Outreach and Communications Action Team, the Poverty Reduction Action Team developed a number of collaborative relationships throughout the Commonwealth focused on lifting individuals and families out of poverty.

Community Events
The Poverty Reducation Action Team was proud to share the many trauma-informed resources, educational tools, and advocacy opportunities with their network of organizations to empower low-income individuals and families throughout Pennsylvania.
