Child Abuse Prevention Action Team and Policy and Legislation Action Team: Advocacy for House Bill 2913

To Create the Office of the Child Advocate

The Child Abuse Prevention Action Team has been working in close collaboration with the Policy and Legislation Action Team to advocate for the creation of an Office of the Child Advocate for Pennsylvania. The team recognizes the importance of having an office dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of children in the state. As a result of their efforts, the team is proud to announce that they now have a co-sponsorship memo in the PA Senate and HB2913 sponsored in the PA House of Representatives. This is a significant achievement for the team, and a step forward in their mission to create a safer and more secure environment for children in Pennsylvania. The proposed Office of the Child Advocate will provide a much-needed voice for children who are too often overlooked or ignored. By working together with the Policy and Legislation Action Team, the Child Abuse Prevention Action Team has demonstrated their unwavering commitment to advocating for the needs and rights of vulnerable children and ensuring their voices are heard.
